Effects of TRF and purified T3 on PERK, ATF-6, and IRE-1α activity. T3 (10 μg/ml) affect the UPR intracellular pathway in HeLa cells. CC indicates the treatment with the vehicle only (DMSO). Brefeldin (BFA) (2.5 μg/ml) was used as a positive control of EndoR stress. α-Tubulin was used as the loading control. a T3 treatment has no effect on the expression of ATF-6 and PERK proteins at 24 h from the treatment. b IRE-1 protein expression and phosphorylation are significantly affected by T3 treatment.
