LDR-UA. a Discriminating probe (DP) and common probe (CP) anneal juxtaposed to the target DNA. DP is labelled with a fluorophore. CP is phosphorylated at the 5′ end and is linked to its 3′ end a Zip Code. The probe/target perfect match allows the thermostable ligase to bind the two probes together. One single mismatch at the 3′ end of the DP prevents the ligation of the probes. b The ligation reaction is hybridized to a universal array. Each CP is captured on a spot corresponding to a complementary of a Zip Code (cZIP Code). The successful ligation is detected by array scanning
