HSP-16.2 expression is dependent on DAF-16. In TJ356 DAF-16 localization in the nucleus is increased by 100 and 250 μM juglone (a). Knock-down of DAF-16 by RNA-interference abolished juglone-induced activation of the hsp-16-2 promoter in CL2070 as is evidenced by the lack of GFP-fluorescence in (b).
