Venn diagram of up- and downregulated genes in endothelial cells 24 h after treatment with α-tocopherol (aTOC) (5 μM), γ-tocopherol (gTOC) (5 μM), or γ-tocotrienol (GT3) (5 μM). GT3 affected a total number of 898 genes, whereas aTOC and gTOC only affected 39 and 172 genes, respectively. There was limited overlap in up- and downregulated genes between the different tocols. Only 2 genes were affected by all 3 tocols. Genes were considered differentially regulated at P < 0.001
