Effect of 24-h pretreatment with AS or FS on ERK1 and ERK2 phosphorylation in HUVECs exposed for 24 h to 32 % O2 (mild hyperoxic conditions) or to 21 % O2 (normoxic conditions). Cells treated with FS and exposed to normoxic conditions were used as negative controls. The figure shows a representative image from three independent experiments.
