  1. 5 × 103 HCT-116 cells per well were treated for 24, 48, and 72 h with various concentrations of DHA after which, growth inhibition rates were measured. 5 × 105 cells per well were treated for 48 h with indicated concentrations of DHA after which cell viability was determined using trypan blue dye exclusion. Experiments were repeated twice using triplicate assays and the results were presented as the mean ± SD
