Influence of n-3 FAs on gene expression. The total RNA was extracted using RNeasy Mini, then cDNA was produced from the RNA. The expression of SOCS1, TNFAIP3, TNFA, IL1B, IL6, MCP1, and PTGS2 was assessed using real-time PCR. PCR samples were normalized against 18S gene expression.
